Our printed circuit board assembly services include world class Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole production lines, all products are manufactured to IPC quality standards.
Need a board that’s a mix of surface mount and through hole assembly? No problem – our highly skilled team can turn even the most complex PCBAs around quickly and accurately.
SMT Assembly Capability
Our surface mount assembly capability includes two fully-automated SMT Assembly lines, with a capacity of more than 60,000 components per hour. Both lines have an in-line Paste Printers with automated inspection, full vision SMT machines and closed loop multi-zone reflow ovens. We can manufacture both leaded and lead-free (RoHS compliant) products.
Our surface mount assembly lines cater to:
- Small individual PCBs through to boards as large as 1600mm x 510mm
- Single-sided or double-sided, mixed technology circuit boards
- Virtually any device including all types of BGAs, CGAs, QFNs, DFNs, CSPs and SONs
- 01005 Chip components to 100mm Connectors and ICs

Through-Hole Assembly Capability
Triode utilises a Ersa 550 Wave Solder machine for the leaded (Sn63/Pb37) assembly of plated through hole products.
We also run an Ersa Wave EWS500 machine for RoHS compliant assemblies (SAC305). We use no-clean fluxes to avoid costly post-wave cleaning processes.
